How Do You Get the Head Off a Toothbrush?
The brush heads of electric toothbrushes are replaceable. To remove the old brush head, hold the handle in one hand and the brush head in the other, then pull the brush head straight out horizontally with firm force. When installing a new brush head, align it with the handle, insert the handle's shaft into the brush head, and press firmly until it's securely in place. Ensure there's a gap of about 1mm between the brush head and the handle.
Follow the following steps to replace the head of the cross-action toothbrush
Step 1: Removing the Brush Head
- Grasp the handle firmly in one hand.
- With your other hand, grip the brush head and pull it straight out horizontally.
Step 2: Attaching the New Brush Head
- Align the new brush head with the handle, making sure they face each other.
- Insert the handle's shaft into the brush head.
- Press firmly until the brush head is securely in place.
Step 3: Checking for Correct Installation
- Once attached, there should be a tiny gap of about 1mm between the brush head and the handle.
You are supposed to change your brush head every three months according to the recommendation of dentists.
